DeFi + Stablecoins on Cardano? Another Gem Start-up
The Cardano ecosystem has huge potential for growth, and it may be coming soon from this ADA DeFi platform.
While Bitcoin and Ethereum are fairly stable in the recent weeks, signaling a potential bottom for the mini crypto winter, many investors have eyes on other mid-cap coins that took a beating in Q4 but are almost certain to rise.
Cardano’s ADA coin is one that has a potential buying opportunity as it’s down drastically in the short term. However, the Cardano blockchain may one day rival the DeFi and NFT ecosystems on Ethereum and other Layer 1 protocols, and provide stablecoin alternatives and financial inclusion for developing nations.
To learn more about DeFi on Cardano, I spoke with Steven Ward, CEO of VyFinance, about their one-of-a-kind DeFi platform built on the Cardano Blockchain, including their recent partnership with Metadams (Play-to-Stake Metaverse) and Mintswap,
We also spoke about the Stablecoins on Cardano, how #VyFi is bringing financial inclusion to developing countries in Africa, and more on Degen gains through Cardano DeFi.
Speaking on coins success, Cardano’s ADA token hasn’t been doing too well lately. Since it’s high of nearly $3.00 USD in September 2021, it is down 75%. But then again, many altcoins are also around 40-50% less than they were in late 2021, and always remember in crypto to Zoom out.
When you Zoom out, you realize many smart investors already bought ADA at $0.06 and below 1 year earlier. Of course it needs to come down from $3.00 after a gain like that.
Cardano will only continue to get stronger. With widespread backing and more development into DeFi (and actually getting smart contracts) ADA should make new All Time High’s.
For those needing to learn more about the Cardano blockchain, I speak with IOHK Founder Charles Hoskinson about Cardano’s technology quite a whole ago on how exactly Cardano is superior as a smart contracting platform, the various stages the Cardano blockchain goes through in the multi year roadmap, and how it competes with Ethereum’s network and DeFi.
(hint, it’s much smaller with potential to catch-up)!
Cardano is one of those coins that isn’t going away. Not when Mr. Hoskinson is deep in the game, was a Co-Founder of Ethereum, and has the best scientists and researchers globally working on Cardano.
Expect more videos to come out from me on the Cardano system as it continues to grow. I’ve been experimenting with a launchpad on Cardano (OccamFi) and DeFi now, and will bring more promising Cardano solutions as they arrive.
